November Already!
So here we are, facing down the end of the year. Everyone is getting busy making plans and so are we! Here's what you need to know as we head into the last two months of 2019.
Holiday Hours
The office will be closed December 24th-26th and January 1st. Everything else is free reign within our regular hours, including the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. For those lucky ones who are off all the way until January 6th, we've got you covered too!
Direct Billing Questions
A few more insurance companies have been added to our direct billing list: MDM Insurance, LiUNA Local 183 and LiUNA Local 506. To view the full list of registered providers click here to visit the FAQs page of our website.
This is also the time of year that we get asked the question "I've run out of benefits but my husband/wife has not used any, can I use theirs?" The short answer: No. But let's explain. Submitting an insurance claim for anyone other than the person receiving the treatment is actually a form of insurance fraud. And let's face it....no one looks good in an orange jumpsuit. Maybe if you book your loving spouse a massage of their own, they'll buy you a Gift Certificate?? Probably not? Yeah...not in my house either....was worth a shot! Lol
Indie Head Massage
If you have not tried this yet, you really should. You may have noticed that we've added a 30 min stand alone IHM to our list of services. This treatment is done supine (on your back), with focus to the upper back, shoulders, neck, face and scalp. It's great for reducing tension headaches and can be the perfect "first timer" treatment for those who have not tried Massage Therapy before. As always, IHM can be included in any longer treatment by indicating it in the notes or when you come in. Click here to book one for yourself or a friend.
